His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin
the 53rd al-Dai al-Mutlaq and leader of the worldwide Dawoodi Bohra community, has dedicated his life to education, environmental responsibility, and socio-economic development. Under his leadership, numerous educational initiatives have flourished, benefiting countless students globally.
He accepted the chancellorship of Aligarh Muslim University, continuing a family legacy, and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Letters by the University of Karachi in 2015.
Syedna oversees the historic Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah with campuses in Surat, Karachi, Nairobi, and Mumbai, and manages numerous educational institutions worldwide. His contributions extend beyond his community, notably donating 1,000 computers to Aligarh Muslim University-affiliated high schools, including the Syedna Taher Saifuddin High School.
His unwavering commitment to education has left a lasting impact on South Asia, East Africa, and the Gulf states.
